
Grade Two Professional Wrestling Class
Thursday 7.30-9.30pm
Taking the essential building blocks learned in Grade One, Grade Two focuses on acquiring a personal repertoire of key creative sequences. From the International to Come Backs, transitions to match structures, you’ll learn to safely execute a match from start to finish, all while working the audience & keeping your opponent safe.
Class Objectives & Learning Outcomes:
Build a personal lexicon of sequences that fit your physical characteristics
Develop the confidence to perform in front of an audience & execute matches with partners of a similar level
Learn how to structure basic tag matches, singles matches and multi-man matches
Understand simple storytelling structures and how to apply them to different audiences
Creatively respond to mistakes & mishaps in real-time and leave blank sections of matches to maximise spontaneity
Who is it for?
This is an intermediate-advanced level class for wrestlers who want to develop fluidity, confidence and poise in their movements, footwork and wrestling psychology. Sessions include blow-up drills for ring cardio, set sequences & improvised tasks.
